Traveling to Vancouver Island is always a blast! We spent the majority of the day outdoors with Amber and Alan where we photographed all over beautiful Victoria B.C. Despite a little rain, the ceremony took place in Beacon Hill Park, where family, and friends watched closely while vows were made. We even had a vow renewal between the bride's parents Steve and Terri which was a lovely addition!

After completing a tour of the park with their son Alex, the wedding party, family, and friends, we headed into the downtown core with just Amber and Alan to catch some shots in Fantan Alley, and Market Square. The old city offers great architecture and interesting spots are scattered throughout the city to discover. Thanks goes to Amber and Alan for bringing us along on a wonderful day! We were happy to meet everyone, and be a part of the event!

Take a look at some of the images from this wedding below!

The landscape of Kelowna British Columbia is changing. Beauty it seems, is obvious in many places throughout the Okanagan Valley. Check out a little bit of Catherine & Nick's wedding as we visit one of British Columbia's most scenic places.

Winding down with the final days of October, we jumped head first into what is likely our final wedding photography venture of 2018. Fall colours, cool weather, and the beautiful Simon Fraser University all primed for what was to be an excellent day for everyone.

As Gillian and Cailen readied themselves to meet at the University, we documented the pre-ceremony hours with each at family homes. Then moving on to the venue at the University, guests were greeted and welcomed just before the ceremony began. Afterwards, we headed outdoors to the university grounds for some creative and personal photo time with the bride and groom.

The grounds of the University were spattered with yellow and orange bursting foliage. A beautiful enhancement to the concrete designed structures that make up SFU. The sun screaming through the peaks and valleys of the concrete structures created unique opportunities for us as photographers to use the light and get creative. Gillian and Cailen did the rest... Quite...

Called one of the final wedding events to be taking place at the long standing resort just outside of Vernon BC, we caught up with Kelsi & Tom coming from Alberta to ascend a mountain, and catch some very scenic views.

The landscape of Kelowna British Columbia is changing. Wildfires burn, but make room for new life. Beauty it seems, is obvious in many places throughout the Okanagan Valley, including a once lush and green scorched backdrop.
