When we are invited to capture a wedding at The Hotel Eldorado in Kelowna, BC, we know we are in for a beautiful lakeside wedding with mountain views, and a day filled with old-time charm. Rawan & Wade's wedding was no exception! The rooftop ceremony took place in front of one of nature's truly scenic backdrops with classic Okanagan views. Despite the wildfires that were rampant throughout the interior, skies were clear and the sun gleamed down on every guest. The colours, decor and details were so fitting for this venue which all added to the cozy and intimate feel of the reception. The room was just the right size to hold guests from all over the world who had come together to witness the vows of Rawan & Wade and wish them all the best on the next part of their journey together.
We were so happy to be a part of this day. All the best to Rawan & Wade!
We first met Tasha and Mark for their engagement session in Vancouver (See them here!). We wandered the streets of Gastown with them for a couple of hours and by the end, we were really looking forward to spending their wedding day with them!
When the big day finally arrived, we headed to Kelowna for the weekend and started the day at the Sheraton Four Points. After Tasha, Mark and the wedding party finished getting ready, we all moved to the wedding ceremony at Sunset Ranch Golf and Country Club. The decor was done by Tasha and her mother, and was perfectly stunning!
After the beautiful ceremony, we jumped in the limousine bound for a visit to Knox Mountain. High above the city, a beautiful, natural backdrop contributed to some great photos and good times. Afterwards, we made a quick stop downtown Kelowna before heading back to Sunset Ranch for the reception, which turned out to be a celebration filled with much love from the couple's family and friends!
