Hailing from Egypt and Mexico, Mohamed and Iliana, met here in Canada, and were married last weekend. Opting for a spectacular forest and waterfalls for the backdrop, we roamed Crystal Falls Trail in this elopement style photo session.
Tofino. Another first time photo location for the 2017 year. Although we had been to Tofino before, and were married ourselves in nearby Ucluelet, this time we were able to see things in a fresh perspective. Nicole and Christian were staying in a hotel right next to the beach and when we arrived, we all treked over to a quiet spot near the end of it. This was an elopement style wedding with just the two of them, their daughter, a friend, and their awesome dog Apollo. An intimate, sun filled day with a side of waves, peace, and a few refreshments. The day was a short one, but a final stop at a local dock where a rustic ship was waiting to be used for something other than its usual day-to day ended our afternoon perfectly.
Congratulations Nicole and Christian. Thank you for bringing us to the Pacific Rim.
We packed our bags and headed into the interior of BC. Just outside of Kamloops, we headed upwards to Sun Peaks Resort. It felt like a secret village nestled between mountains The village area could be likened to Whistler [Or for those of you in Ontario, Blue Mountain)
Mia & Isaac | Gatzke Orchard in Oyama, British Columbia
Mia & Isaac's outdoor wedding at Gatzke Orchard was fun, bright, and intimate. We captured some fun photos in the orchards and surrounding environment. As the sun set, everyone enjoyed drinks, dancing, and conversation, celebrating a day to be marked in Mia & Isaac's memories forever.
This bride and groom had the entire wedding party in Converse shoes. Guys and girls both! Now we have seen some groomsmen in Chucks before, but Isaac and Mia took it to the next level with personalized, graffiti kicks! The groomsmen all received personalized hatchets from Isaac, and Mia's bridesmaids all received personalized accessories, and a handkerchief that she specified was for 'happy tears only'. The wedding decor included some absolutely beautiful bohemian-style dream catchers handmade by the mother of the bride, an orchard full of cherries ripe and ready to eat right from the tree, a cowbell, and not to mention the stunning view of Lake Countr...
We are so excited to make our first trip of the season out to the Okanagan Valley this weekend, to celebrate with Kaitie and Kyle as they say their vows! Kaitie and I were just commenting the other day on how we cannot believe it has been over a year since we last saw each other! Here we are now in the final stretch before the big day.
It was last spring that we made the long drive from the lower mainland out to Banff, Alberta to meet the Calgary couple for the first time for their engagement session. We have so much in common with these two and became instant friends!
These two were up for anything. They donned their jerseys, pulled the top back on their jeep for some photos, and pulled out a bottle of 'Say Yes' from Dirty Laundry winery in Summerland, BC. All perfect for an engagement session!
